Honda Jet Specs
The HondaJet HA-420 is the most advanced jet in it's category. It flys higher, faster, and more efficiently than all of its competition. The Over The Wing Engine Mount not only gives the HondaJet a unique and distinctive look, but it also reduces the cabin noise, improves fuel efficiency, and allows for a class leading aft baggage capacity. The cabin of the HondaJet also sets the aircraft apart from its competitors with more legroom, advanced features, an externally serviceable lavatory with a solid door, and a sink with running water. The composite fuselage allows the HondaJet to minimize weight while providing superior strength. The composite fuselage along with the single piece Natural Laminar Flow wing give the HondaJet unmatched and unparalleled performance.
The HondaJet cockpit was designed for simplicity and safety, especially for single pilot operators. The aircraft systems work seamlessly with the Garmin G3000 flight deck to support the pilot for maximum safety. The HondaJet flight deck is superior to its competitor aircraft which have systems introduced over 30 years ago. The clean sheet design of the HondaJet means that the aircraft systems were developed to operate automatically, allowing the pilot to focus on flying the airplane instead of managing systems.
The HondaJet has undergone many innovations that have improved its performance, avionics, and interior. There a several different HondaJet Models now in the pre-owned marketplace.
HondaJet Operating Costs
The HondaJet is the most efficient aircraft in its class, allowing you to minimize your hourly operating costs. You can expect to spend about $1,000 per hour to operate the HondaJet. This includes the cost of fuel as well as the aircraft's airframe and engine programs. The HondaJet's GE Honda Aero HF-120 engines are not only extremely fuel efficient, but also have a 5,000 hour time before overhaul, a longer engine TBO than all other competing aircraft in the light jet category.
The fixed costs of the HondaJet will vary based on your location and personal requirements. CBM Aero can assist you with finding Aircraft Insurance, Aircraft Financing, Aircraft Tax, and HondaJet Training Advice, as well as HondaJet Pilots.
HondaJet Programs
The HondaJet offers three levels of airframe programs and two levels of engine programs. The FlightReady airframe program allows you to manage your maintenance costs. The lowest level of coverage is P1 Protection, and includes the basic Airframe Warranty of 3 years or 1,500 flight hours. The next level P2 Performance adds to the basic warranty and includes the cost of parts. P3 Precision includes the cost of parts as well as labor. The EMC2 Engine Program covers the costs of engine maintenance. The FlightReady P2 or P3 airframe and EMC2 engine programs are paid monthly, and are based on the flight hours and cycles. The costs for the programs per flight hour are approximately $120 for P2, $300 for P3, and $300 for EMC2. Even if a pre-owned HondaJet is not currently enrolled on the service plan level you would prefer, the aircraft can be enrolled in either program option or upgraded at any time. The cost to upgrade or enroll is based on the current aircraft flight time. CBM Aero can take care of all of your reporting requirements and management of the programs and maintenance tracking so you don't have to worry about it.
